The Nena S CU knob is made form pure copper and it is uncoated. All copper handles that are unvarnished patinate very quickly in an unpredictable way. Their discolouration depends on the factors to which they are exposed. This is a natural and intended process for this type of finish. Copper handles go beautifully with industrial or stylised interiors.
To care for copper handles, use cleaning agents designed for brass, copper and stainless steel. Avoid contact with aggressive preparations, e.g. alcohol-based.
